Third night painting live, from an abstract liquid acrylic background, yo the appearance of a Pueo (Hawaiian Owl) to more trees and a dark tunnel portal. On a wood octagon provided. This has been such a. Great experience for me developing a way of live painting even with my messy pour painting techniques. #livepaintings Live painting @space_city_lights I changed the little bird to smaller and more vulnerable… it is the scene I witnessed of an ‘Io stealing a baby Minor bird from its nest from our mac nut tree. Then I added energy lines flowing from the wings of the hawk to show how it’s stealing the little souls of the bird eggs, meanwhile the egg souls rise and evolve up to become like the flower of life Star I drew. The star was also based on seeing a light orb travel over us on our way to paint and dance one of the nights. Jumping the Abyss has its risks, some souls get eaten and start again, some rise and move on to other worlds. In a way this is a phoenix metaphor. More will be revealed to me as I contemplate the painting… what do you see? Artwork is for silent auction at the venue. #abstactpainting #visionaryart #visionaryartist #hawaiiartists

On the way to dance we saw a light moving low over us and out to sea… this is them my visual interpretation of what we saw added to this painting I’ve been working on over the summer at these cosmic dances. Sold and installed for new owners of a beautiful octagon shaped home! From my Channeling Nadis series, where the river channels and the channels of flow in the body help create a healing environment. I made these paintings with loose canvas on the Earth and channeled in poetry while I worked for an expression of alchemy between the Cosmos and the Ground through my being.
Metallic paints reveal the mineral memories in the metaphoric rivers. Gold shines as everlasting spiritual light. We learn from the flow forms how to move and problem solve around obstacles in our paths.

Process and under painting for “Good Luck Manifestor”, on exhibit at @wailoacenter in Hilo during August and September for the 14th annual Abstract Only exhibition. This was inspired for me by Moorish design that is in my heart from past times in Spain. I love sacred geometry and this is part of a series I’m working on of occult symbols that I draw and then cover up slightly with paint.
