About the event
We will meet on the paint deck from 11 AM - 1 PM, getting the brightest light of the day.
Class Format: Starting with a short centering meditation, participants will explore an intuitive approach to acrylic painting while investigating different elements of brushwork, and surface quality within a painting. The way that paint is applied and expressed is an integral part of one’s visual language, inherently impacting how a work of art is seen, felt, and interpreted. Experiment with the processes that generate exciting, authentic and unique works of art tailored to developing your personal style. Each class students will be guided to explore and play with new techniques for skill and concept development.
We will discuss how to look at your painting to determine if you want to add more into it. New orientations and personal concepts will help you find that hidden inspiration to develop imagery or enhance…
