About the event
We will meet on the paint deck or outside, weather depending, from 10 am 1 pm getting the brightest light of the day.
WORKSHOP FORMAT: Participants will create their own unique piece of art on a canvas, using brushes, mark making tools and acrylic paints to take home by the end of the class. Supplies included. This class or the 1-1 Mentoring is prerequisite to Painting as Practice. My intention is to help you unblock any fears around art making, help you feel free to use art for self-expression and have fun.
Part 1: Background: Students will explore an intuitive approach to acrylic painting and mark making while investigating different elements of drawing, brushwork, and surface quality within a painting.
